The Albanians have posted TikTok videos showing how to cut off their tags, dubbed “British Rolexes”, using nothing more than kitchen scissors. They boast that it enables them to abscond despite the threat of jail or other sanctions for breaching their immigration bail.
Hundreds of Albanians have been tagged as part of their immigration bail after arriving illegally in the UK on small boats across the Channel, or as a precursor to their deportation after being released from prison.

It’s Remembrance Day and thousands of pro-Palestine demonstrators are marching through central London, from Hyde Park to the US Embassy.
For weeks, the government have stoked fears of the sanctity of Remembrance Day being desecrated, describing it as a hate march and reprimanding the police for not banning it, despite the march going nowhere near the cenotaph.
As a result, hundreds of football fans and far-right agitators felt compelled to turn out and defend it.

A small group of nationalists threw abuse at pro-Palestinian protesters this afternoon (Oct 21) in Central London, calling them expletives. The incident took place on Whitehall near Downing Street but they were quickly dispersed from the area by Met Police.

Terrifying footage captures the moment a youth on a bike pulls a large knife on a motorist in broad during the middle of the day. The footage shows two men exiting a black Volkswagen in Streatham, London, on October 18 before an argument occurs with two youths on bicycles in the middle of the road and one of the cyclists pulls out a large knife. The incident follows the release of new figures showing that the number of murders in the UK has soared by 14 per cent and knife crime by 12 per cent.

Three people have been injured, one of whom seriously, following a brawl at a Kabaddi tournament in Derby amid reports of gang violence involving guns and swords.
Armed police were called to a large disturbance at Elvaston Lane recreation ground in Alvaston just before 4pm on Sunday.

Huge crowds including families and young children had gathered at the park to watch a kabaddi tournament, a popular team sport first played in India and played in Asian communities across the UK.
Witnesses say the event was ruined after clashes broke out reportedly among rival gangs.
Videos and pictures uploaded to social media show chaotic scenes of crowds fleeing after gunshots were supposedly fired.
Footage also appears to show men brandishing swords as kabaddi players lay on the ground to protect themselves.
Witnesses say as many as 20 police vehicles were called to the scene at the height of the trouble.
Derby resident Jas Uksingh wrote on Facebook: "What was supposed to be a positive and welcome return of our national motherland Punjabi sport of Kabaddi in Derby, has sadly ended in shameful circumstances.
"Gang violence is not acceptable at sporting events, and should not be tolerated with the community. The UK Kabaddi Federation must take necessary steps and safeguards to stamp this thoughtless violence out from national tournaments.
"I hope those injured are not too serious and make a full recovery."
A Derybshire Constabulary statement said: "We were called to a large scale disturbance in Elvaston Lane, Alvaston at 15.51 on Sunday 20 August.
"Three people have been injured, one seriously. They have all been taken to hospital. There is a large police presence in the area and officers are expected to remain at the scene for some time."
Kabaddi is an ancient form of contact sport, combining wrestling and martial arts. Its name is from the Sanskrit “Kar-badhi”, which means “holding through hands”, and it is played in two teams of seven.
Sunday's tournament was advertised on the England Kababbi Federation website as part of a series of summer events. The Telegraph has contacted the Federation for comment.
Speaking after the violence, some players voiced fears the violence could restrict the staging of future tournaments in the UK.
Manga Mithapuria Powar wrote on Facebook: "Once again another Kabaddi Tournament in Derby has been ruined!
"This appalling behaviour is not acceptable, the tournament was full of families and children which were also at risk today with what has happened!
"If this kind of behaviour continues then our mother game is over. No one will be bringing kids here because of the fear of shots being fired again."
"Kabaddi players and the audience should not have to be involved in this risky situation. All these situations will make it harder for the future as councils will not give permission for Kabaddi matches."

A Good Samaritan rescued an 11-year-old girl from a suspected abduction attempt after hearing two men “ask her if she was on her own”.
CCTV footage shows the moment the woman is seen confronting the alleged would-be abductor outside a newsagents in West Wickham, near Bromley in south London.
The Metropolitan Police has issued images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Passengers were stunned as the man and woman brawled through the carriage of the Hammersmith and City line train travelling through East London towards Barking. Witnesses claimed the argument began around Mile End station on Saturday night when the woman in a red skirt and the Asian man got into a verbal row. The man is said to have asked a passenger: 'Are you racist? What you just said is racist' - before the woman replied: 'This is nothing to do with you.' The Asian man also appeared in a video to say 'What you f**ing going to do, you racist motherf***er?' - and this seemed to be in the direction of another man. The woman was with a male friend who was standing in between her and the Asian man, but their verbal argument quickly led into a physical brawl.

A shoplifting row sparked a protest after a beauty shop owner was filmed “choking” a woman he accused of stealing.
Sohail Sindho, 45, the proprietor of Peckham Hair and Cosmetics, in south London, was seen restraining the woman, who he claimed attempted to take items from his shop.
She became violent after he blocked her exit, he said.
Police said a woman had been arrested on suspicion of assault and later bailed.
A demonstration opposing violence against women and the black community was held outside the shop on Rye Lane on Tuesday, after footage of the incident emerged online.

A man was dragged into the road as he attempted to fight off an attacking dog.
The man was left with serious injuries to his arm, but they are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The victim held a small black dog aloft as a larger, tan-coloured canine got hold of his arm.
South Yorkshire Police believe the animal jumped over a wall into the public road.
Armed response units were sent to the incident to “safeguard the public”.
Chief Inspector Emma Cheney said: “We know these incidents will cause concern among those who live near the location, and for those who witnessed the incident this would have been upsetting.
“We want to reassure people the dog has been seized and removed while we carry out our enquiries and determine exactly what happened. All incidents of this nature are treated with the utmost diligence, and we will investigate thoroughly to ensure the community is kept safe.
“We would like to thank members of the public and medical staff who came to the aid of the victim, who has been taken to hospital for treatment at this time.”

SHOCKING footage has emerged of yobs fighting with machetes outside a Ladbrokes bookies as shoppers looked on.
Armed cops raced to the scene in Leeds, West Yorkshire, but found the suspects had already fled.
The police helicopter was also scrambled to the scene in the Harehills area of the city on Tuesday teatime.
The mobile phone footage appeared to show a group of men fighting outside a Ladbrokes betting shop. One of the men appeared armed with a large machete.

A 26-year-old drug dealer, Shaxawan Beker, punched and sprayed a police officer in an effort to escape arrest in Peterborough.
Officers approached a red Audi driver for blocking the road when Beker started to run away and threw up to £12,300 worth of cocaine package into the front garden of a nearby house.
The man has been jailed for three-and-a-half years.
Detective Constable Gordon Logan, who investigated, said: “Beker knew he was in trouble as he had a substantial amount of class A drugs on him, and it was clear he wanted to do anything he could to avoid arrest.
“Thankfully, the officer did not sustain any serious injuries, however, this was an incredibly frightening incident."

A female police officer who was branded a “lesbian nana” appears to be at the centre of an investigation after using pepper spray during a disturbance in Leeds.
Video circulating on social media shows the officer spraying multiple people in the space of 90 seconds after a disorder broke out on Sunday.
It is believed the officer is the same person who was accused of overreacting after arresting an autistic teenager earlier this year.
The footage shows some local residents challenging the female officer over her use of the spray, while one of her colleagues was repeatedly branded “posh boy”.
Three police officers had been injured following a disturbance in Rothwell, on the south-eastern outskirts of Leeds, after a car was stopped and suspected Class A drugs were recovered. Two men were arrested at the scene on Third Avenue under suspicion of assaulting police officers.
Detectives said an investigation remains ongoing.

A drug dealer who bragged that Cheetham Hill was 'his area' launched a terrifying machete attack as terrified members of the public passed by.
Mujtaba Saeed-Ahmed, 22, slashed at his victim following a bust-up.
The victim had confronted Saeed-Ahmed believing he had his girlfriend working for him.
The pair argued on the phone before Saeed-Ahmed arrived on Bury Old Road in a taxi, armed with a fearsome two foot long machete.
At around 7pm on a Monday night as members of the public watched on in horror, Saeed-Ahmed then hit him twice, and another two times after he fell to the floor.

This is the shocking moment when a huge fight broke out on a ferry while terrified onlookers screamed in horror - leading the vessel to return to port just 20 minutes into the journey. The mass brawl broke out on Saturday, July 8, during a trip from Dublin in Ireland to Holyhead, Wales. Although the footage is unclear, the video appears to show a man in an Adidas top using salad tongs to defend himself as he is being mobbed before the the fight was eventually separated on the Irish Ferries service. Terrified family and friends can also be heard screaming - while other passengers are calmly sat down watching the chaos unfold. This is the moment our firearms officers chased and caught a teenager after he brandished a gun in broad daylight in Birmingham city centre.
Nikye Thomas was chased through Burlington Arcade and New Street station on a busy Saturday afternoon, dropping his loaded gun before finally being taken to the ground.
The drama unfolded at around 3.10pm on 24 June when a woman phoned 999 to report a fight near the Snow Hill station car park.
The 19-year-old was seen grappling with a man over a small bag. Seconds later, Thomas pulled a handgun out and pointed it at the other man.
The man he was threatening fled the scene and Thomas made off, but firearms officers spotted him and chased him. Dramatic footage released today showed how officers relentlessly pursued him before bringing the chase to a safe conclusion outside New Street station.
When the gun was recovered at Burlington Arcade, five live rounds were in the magazine with another in the chamber ready to be fired.
A quantity of cannabis resin, some scales and a burner phone were also found in his bag.
In interview, Thomas initially gave false details to officers before answering no comment to all questions.
Thomas, of Colindale Road, Birmingham, was jailed for five-and-a-half years at Birmingham Crown Court on 13 September for possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
Detective Sergeant Sharon Owen, from our Major Crime team, said: "This was a shocking and reckless act which happened in the middle of a busy Saturday afternoon at a time when the city was full of innocent people.
“Thanks to great work by CCTV operators, firearms officers, forensics and investigators, Thomas is now behind bars.
"In addition to the five rounds in the gun's magazine, one was in the chamber and ready to be fired.
"Carrying guns on our streets is completely unacceptable and this investigation could easily have become a murder investigation had he pulled the trigger.
"We are determined to take guns off the streets and arresting those who think it is acceptable."
The conviction comes after we launched Operation Target, which is focused on bringing serious and organised criminals to justice in the West Midlands.
EXCLUSIVE: The fight broke out in the middle of a road in Manor Park, East London, last week. The clip, filmed by a passerby, starts with the warden taking photos of a man's van. The enraged driver, who is dressed in a hi-vis, then grabs a wooden pole and starts attacking the officer, smacking him twice before the stick snaps. 'Come on you pussy mother f***cker,' rages one of the men as the furious brawl spills out across the road, with the traffic warden punching the man to the floor before the fight is broken up by a third man. Police said the warden suffered a broken finger and the other man was arrested. The matter has since been resolved using a community resolution.

Footage shared on social media showed groups of young people fighting each other in an Edinburgh park.
The police federation saying an officer was injured in the violence.

Shocking footage shows three police officers being battered over the head with a bicycle after violence erupted along a city street in broad daylight.
West Midlands Police were called to Villa Road, in Lozells, Birmingham, to arrest two men outside a shop before the chaotic scenes unfolded this week.
Cops can be seen calling for back-up as they struggled to detain one of the men, who leaves a police officer lying on the ground with a head injury during the struggle.
