It’s Remembrance Day and thousands of pro-Palestine demonstrators are marching through central London, from Hyde Park to the US Embassy.

For weeks, the government have stoked fears of the sanctity of Remembrance Day being desecrated, describing it as a hate march and reprimanding the police for not banning it, despite the march going nowhere near the cenotaph.

As a result, hundreds of football fans and far-right agitators felt compelled to turn out and defend it.
