One person was arrested after police said two cars appeared to be racing on Sam Rayburn Tollway in Lewisville on Wednesday night. Video from @JuniorWash12 on Twitter.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on the southbound lanes of Sam Rayburn Tollway near Standridge Drive.
DPS said a Ford Mustang and a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette were suspected to be racing in the southbound lanes when the Mustang allegedly rear-ended a 2018 Hyundai Elantra that was not involved in the racing.
The impact from the collision caused the driver of the Mustang to veer into the Corvette's lane, officials said, causing another collision. The driver of the Corvette then veered into the median and rolled over.

Our Shop
We made the move to a new larger location in 2015. This was big step for Butler in order to accomodate growth and the addition of the LS division to our company. This extra space allowed us to add a substantial amount of inventory and warehouse space. Our customer sales center expanded so we can answer your calls and handle more orders much more efficiently. We expanded our machine shop to include..... as well as a block cleaning room and paint booth. All engines built by Butler will be tested on our state of the art Dyno Center. Overall, the location has enabled us to take Butler to the next level in performance parts and engines. We will be able to handle all of your performance needs for Pontiac engines.

This '55 Chevy holds a special place in our hearts at Street Racing Channel. We decided to ask my grandparents if they would let us put an engine in the car, as it's been sitting for 40 years, and hasn't been driven. To our surprise they told us we could! This car is the reason I race today, it's the reason my father got into racing. There is nothing in this world like driving around in a Black 55 Chevy with a big cam and header mufflers, with a 4 Speed. Hopefully we will be able to get the front end rebuilt soon and get it aligned, gear swap, and some new tires on the way. Eventually some fresh paint, and body work in time. It still drives amazingly well for being a 65 year old car on a lot of the original parts!
