The eco mob blocked two sections of major roads into London after warning its "non-violent civil resistance" would continue on Wednesday.
However, some motorists' patience finally wore out, as one man knelt in the road to play bagpipes loudly to an activist's face.
Other protesters appeared to have been sprayed in the face with ink or dye as they sat on the road.

Recently we showed footage of a silver Peugeot trying to get eco-protesters to move their roadblock by driving towards them.
When the protesters didn't move the car kept going and the two activists held onto the car's bonnet.
This footage shows the incident from a different angle.
A German Just Stop Oil protest group called Letzte Generation, Last Generation, had two members pushed along a busy road as they clung to the front of a moving car.

French Just Stop Oil protesters were simultaneously lifted from the road by a group of well coordinated police.
The climate activists had glued their hands together inside orange tubes and painted the road orange right in front of the Eiffel Tower, in Paris.
Not wanting to drag the protesters from the road the police lifted all the activists in one go and removed them to the pavement.
Bystanders could be heard clapping and shouting 'bravo' as the police executed the maneuver.

3 supporters of Norway's Just Stop Oil group, Stopp Oljeleting, tried to disrupt the Norway v Georgia European Championship 2024 qualifier at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
Security acted quickly and wrestled the activists to the ground and dragged them from the pitch.

The environmental activists marched slowly on the A406 southbound at the Hangar Lane Roundabout in Ealing, west London from 8am. They unfurled banners as they marched for more than 30 minutes, causing a massive traffic pile-up. Angry drivers remonstrated with the protesters, with one worker in a high-vis jacket tossing a Just Stop Oil banner away.

More than 60 Just Stop Oil protesters have been arrested after the activist group carried out a demonstration in Westminster on Monday morning.
Demonstrators laid down and sat on the floor of every corner of Parliament Square after marching around the central London road in orange hi-vis jackets.
Many of the protesters were then placed into handcuffs by police after refusing to move off the floor.
The Metropolitan Police posted on social media: “Officers have arrested 62 Just Stop Oil activists who were in the road in Parliament Square”.
TalkTV’s Peter Cardwell is joined by Just Stop Oil spokesperson Alex De Koning as they furiously disagree on the protest.
Peter: “One of the biggest polluters in the world is China - why don’t you protest there and see how far you can get?”
Alex: “That’s honestly such a childish response Peter.”

A video shows the moment a furious HGV passenger confronts Just Stop Oil protesters as they hold up London commuters in another slow-walking protest. Around 20 demonstrators took to Shooters Hill Road near Blackheath, south-east London from 8am this morning, wearing orange hi-vis vests and holding banners. Others took to Gunnersbury Avenue, near Acton, and the roads around central London's Marble Arch, where police cleared the road of slow-moving cyclists 15 minutes later. Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan has praised Germany's "instant SWAT team" approach to dealing with Just Stop Oil protesters blocking road traffic.
An angry audience has booed activists who disrupted a stage performance of Les Miserables in London's West End.
Police were called to the Sondheim Theatre at around 9pm local time on Wednesday.
It's alleged four individuals launched themselves on stage and waved banners during a song about revolution.
They fixed themselves to the stage with bike locks before the venue was evacuated.
Five people have been arrested.
Two Just Stop Oil activists have disrupted a Premiership Rugby final by running onto the pitch and releasing flares with orange paint.
Footage captured by the group shows the demonstrators bypassing stewards and running to the middle of the pitch, wearing bright orange t-shirts shirts with the group’s name visible on the front.

A driver mounted a pavement to bypass Just Stop Oil protesters after they refused to move so he could attend a hospital appointment.
Video footage captured by LBC reporter Henry Riley showed the man branded one activist a "weasel" as he was held up on the Old Kent Road in South East London.
The protesters were asked by a police community support officer to allow the man to drive through the protest in order to attend a hospital appointment.
But when one activist says he doesn't believe the situation is an emergency, the motorist takes matters into his own hands by mounting the pavement to swerve around the protesters.
The Telegraph has contacted the Metropolitan Police for comment.

Just Stop Oil protesters have been dragged off the roads by desperate motorists after bringing traffic in central London to a standstill on the ninth day of demonstrations.
Footage posted online showed one man shouting at activists: "I have to go to hospital... stop interfering with us."
He received applause as he began hauling the seated demonstrators off the road and onto the pavement. At least one other motorist was seen helping him to shift the protesters.

An angry homeowner threw a bucket of water on Just Stop Oil protestors from his balcony after they halted traffic outside his flat.
The man was filmed dousing the six environmentalists from his third-floor flat as they slowly walked down the A5202 in Camden, north London at 8.10am today (22)

Members from the eco-mob were seen slow walking on the South Circular Road near its junction with the A40 in the west of the capital. They were also causing disruption on Kings Street in Hammersmith, New Kent Road in Southwark and Hanger Lane in Ealing, according to the Metropolitan Police. The force said all three of these roads were 'cleared' in 10 minutes or less, with at least one protester arrested in Hammersmith for 'breach of condition'. Five protesters also caused 'serious disruption' on Vauxhall Bridge Road at 8.30am, police said.

Police have arrested at least 15 Just Stop Oil protesters blocking the road in Parliament Square, central London.
The group said around 65 protesters were marching on Monday morning to demand an end to new oil and gas.
A spokesman added: “Ordinary people are in the road at Parliament Square, calling out our government’s genocidal policy of new fossil fuels.
“We will not stop.”
The Metropolitan Police said it arrived within four minutes of receiving the initial report, adding: “Officers are responding to a number of Just Stop Oil activists in the road. There have been 15 arrests made.

Members of the public disrupted two protests from Just Stop Oil activists on Monday before the police shut them down, with one motorcyclist even driving through the protest.
In Camberwell, south London, a motorcyclist drove through a line of protesting slow marchers and threw their banner on the road, while elsewhere in London a cyclist tried to push past protesters, telling them to “f***ing move”.
In Islington, a cyclist attempted to move a group of protesters off the road by himself on Holloway Road.

Just Stop Oil are now so unpopular that children - who the protesters repeatedly claim are the generation whose futures they are campaigning to save - have started berating them in the streets. Young learners from a local school were today seen reprimanding the slow-marchers as they made them late for classes. Orange-dressed eco campaigners this time selected Stratford and Ealing for their now-familiar street shuffle. But police at the east London demo appeared to be unworried this time as at first the highway hijack was not adjudged to be causing serious disruption. Moments later as the congestion got worse, they imposed a Section 12 order. One motorist, who the campaigners explained their cause too, seemed fairly unimpressed. He told them: 'I don't give a f*** get out of the way.'
