Exploring the Abandoned, 3500-Foot Rosemont Tunnel (Part 2)
The exploration of the abandoned mine known as the Rosemont Tunnel continues. The tunnel plunges into the mountain and is reported to be 3500 feet long with an opening at the far end on the other side of the ridge. Here in Part 2 we reached some of the furthest reaches of the mine and found some unusual features including a dangerous bridge over a steeply inclined ore pass, an unusual cistern in a backfilled tunnel, and other things. Did we actually reach the other end of the 3500-foot long tunnel? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!
