@Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage from the Dallas Police Department of an incident that happened in February of 2023. Dallas Police were called to a local nightclub where Douglas Henshell, 59, was apprehended for allegedly flashing a police badge and claiming to be an officer.

While talking to officers he had quite the claims for his military career as a special operations soldier.

Henshell was arrested and taken to jail.

Police are investigating the alleged assault of a motorist by members of the SAPS VIP unit. A video making the rounds online shows what appears to be an assault on one of the occupants of the private vehicle by the members, some carrying guns. News24 traced the vehicle owner, who said the matter happened on Sunday in Pretoria. She said the lawyers were handling the matter. #news24video

A truck came to a stop behind a high patrol officer on the M7 highway at Horsley Park in Sydney, Australia just after 3pm on Monday. It stopped moving because the officer, in his 40s, pulled over a car and another two vehicle appeared to have blocked the left lane. The truck captured the moment a B-double truck crashed into it from behind and pushed it forward which caused it to hit the police vehicle and the car which had been pulled over.

Dashcam footage shows California police chasing a suspect driving an allegedly stolen van on May 6. The Seal Beach Police Department said the pursuit began when the vehicle was spotted by officers after being reported stolen. After a 10-minute chase, one of the officers executed a PIT maneuver on the van, causing a rollover crash. Authorities arrested the driver, 38-year-old Anthony Ramirez, but were unable to locate the passenger who fled from the scene. Ramirez faces two felony charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and evading law enforcement.

A staffing shortage that can be felt by North Carolinians is the lack of troopers on the roads.

Currently, there North Carolina Highway Patrol has about 250 trooper vacancies across the state. That number could keep growing as several agencies are facing a shrinking police force.

A heroic police officer rescued a child wandering in the middle of a highway in Illinois.
