We travelled around 400 miles for this bunker. I thought it's abandoned, but it doesn't seem so. Some creepy, but interesting stuff going on there. Well this was one of our best trips yet.

In this episode I talk about my perspective about our adventure in Italy when we explored a bunker and what happened after I posted the video online.
We got sued for clandestine introduction into military sites and unjustified possession of espionage means and risked 1-5 years in prison.
Actually this place is a protected workshop and power station who had to provide electricity to the La Spezia in case of a blackout during war. This cold war bunker closed in 1992 and is frozen in time since. This bunker is now being reconverted into someting top secret again.

This Mansion has been empty for many years now and I’ve personally known about it for at least x2!.. finally got around to having a look wile on the way back from another location. Sadly the house was sealed tight.... but the secret bunker definitely made up for that! The most recent date we found was on a bar of soda from the 80’s!!! This guy was fully prepared for a Dooms Day Apocalypse!.. I reckon he had enough supplies down there to last him at least x6 months maybe more? And it’s all still there!... completely untouched! A true time capsule 👌🏽

During one of the hardest times there was a man who served in World War I and was a proud member of the Freemasons. He returned to his wife and two children and wanted to provide them with a home that was filled with love and memories.
So, he set out to build his dream home with his own two hands in 1931. He worked tirelessly, day and night, to make sure that every detail was just perfect for his family. He put in extra effort to make sure the house was strong and sturdy, as he wanted it to stand the test of time.
Years went by and they made countless memories in the home he built for them. When he passed away, the house was inherited by his son, who was taking care of his mother.
But after his mother passed, he decided to move out with his girlfriend and together they traveled the world and settled in a new country in 1992. The house that his father built with so much love and care was left abandoned and untouched, with all of its belongings still inside.
Although the house was no longer inhabited, it remained a symbol of the love and dedication of a father who wanted nothing more than to provide a safe and comfortable home for his family. To this day, the house stands as a reminder of his legacy and the sacrifices he made for those he loved.

I'm on a little roadtrip in Croatia with Eelco and visit abandoned military relics throughout the country.
On the last day we visit Zeljava air base, which was the largest underground airport of Europe. It's located right on the border of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This place became operational in 1968 and got destroyed by the Serbian military in 1991-1992.
Since then it's a dangerous abandoned place since there are still mines and unexploded ammunition scattered around. This place is also a smuggling route and a illegal way into the EU for illegal immigrants so there's a lot of police patrol. We also visit a "submarine" tunnel called "Hitler's eyes'.

In the belly of a mountain, we found this secret NATO bunker - at an undisclosed location; hard to find, and even harder to enter. If the Cold War had gone hot, World War Three would have been fought from here. In weeks of isolation, this would have been the NATO headquarters for military operations in the Mediterranean world - safe from any nuclear, biological, or chemical attacks. In todays explore, we visit a recently 'opened' Bunker hidden underneath an unassuming Bungalow!

These bunkers were used heavily in the cold war era to detect incoming Nuclear threats from the Soviet Union.
They were upgraded from old WW2 communication stations by Marconi.
The contract to do this is still the largest government contract awarded to a UK firm to date!

In this explore we visit a Cold War Nuclear bunker that has been sealed off for over 50 years!
ROTOR was an elaborate air defence radar system built by the British Government in the early 1950s to counter possible attack by Soviet bombers.

However since the technology was advancing so rapidly, these bunkers were shut down and sealed never to be seen again!

This abandoned hospital was an inpatient hospital that specialized in mental health and psychopathy, long-term care of chronic diseases, and physical rehabilitation services. The hospital was also known for treating indigent and uninsured patients referred by other hospitals and clinics in the local area.
The hospital was originally built in 1910 as an infirmary and accommodated close to 2,000 people who were destitute because of poverty, mental illness, alcoholism, and other problems. Residents also helped maintain farmland all around the facility.
By 1932, there were more than 4,000 patients, including over 500 with tuberculosis, a deadly air-borne disease that affects the lungs, caused by a specific bacteria that spreads from one person to another through contagions in the air. After this, the hospital added more buildings to the property that specialized in the treatment of tuberculosis, and hence it become a TB sanitarium.
By the 1950s advancements in the medical field and a relative cure for tuberculosis caused another shift within the hospital and the treatment regimen shifted to a physical health care modality.
In 2011, with an everchanging landscape in the medical field the hospital narrowly avoided a complete shut down, but unfortunately they did have to cease operations of all the hospital’s inpatient services. The hospital continued to function as an important part of the area’s health care systems by providing outpatient treatment until it ended up permanently closing in 2020.
As of 2023, developers are eye-balling the 150-acre site as they will most likely move to demolish the historic aging buildings as officials have long stated that the hospital is “too old and expensive to upkeep and maintain.” It’s a matter of time before yet another piece of history is erased forever.
And that brings us to the end of this abandoned hospital. This place was sketchy to explore with security and police on site, but as you can see it easily could be one of the best abandoned hospitals to explore in the whole country.
