Lets dive straight in a take a look at whats been happening.
New Features
My Account – We consider this a bit of an oversight and something that should of been in place long before now. One page with all the options to help you manage your account, profile and data. We are working in the background to add more features and improve your experience here greatly.
Hide All Privacy Option – This is the first option released focusing on privacy, it marks the first of many features coming in this area. You will be able to find this option and all future privacy options on the new My Account page, accessed from the main menu.
View Ratings – Rate My Pic has been removed and the feature incorporated into all media pages. Users can rate content based on the following options: Marry, Sleep, Kiss, Not My Type. Only members can use the rating system, and content owners can see who has rated what media and with what rating.
Updates
Profile Views – Up until now you have only been able to see how many views your profile has got, and this is something you can still see for free. However, if you would like to see if any of those views are from members, and which members, then for a few credits you will be able to unlock this.
My Dashboard – If you have been here long enough you’ll know that periodically we improve and update the dashboard page. In order to not disappoint, we have updated it again.
Donating Credits – Donating credits to content authors has been improved, but its a very small step in what we have planned! We want our users to be able to earn as much as possible, so this is one of our main focuses on the roadmap. We have also added stats about how much you have earned within the top section of all pages.
Varied Credit Packs – We have added several new credit packs so users have abit more flexibility in the amount they buy, and spend.
Upload Images and Videos – The pages have had a bit of an update but we do plan to come back to them shortly.
Roadmap and Whats To Come
We don’t normally share what’s on our roadmap and what we are working on, so we hope this will be useful. The roadmap for us is more of a to-do list and the items on it normally get completed fairly quickly. The list is constantly being added to when we mark items off, so what you see is not all that’s coming, its more what’s coming in the next month or so.
The information is also high level, more detail will be released with each update, its also worth noting that this isnt in any particular order
1. Albums – Better help you manage your media. You will have public albums, private albums, and albums you can charge a subscription to.
2. Contest Section – We want to start running contests every now and then, that means there will be prizes for you to win.
3. Feeds – We want to create a main site feed and personal feed, a bit like twitter, but not. You can post status updates, share media, follow users and a few more things we have up our sleeves
4. Pages – Pages have been neglected, this will be getting a serious makeover and will help content authors earn money.
5. Feedback and suggestions box – We really want your feedback and suggestions, let us know what annoys you about the site, let us know what you like, give us ideas to make features better, or even new features. We’re going to push you “gently” to get involved more, and as a result you can earn credits for free.
